ORIGINAL MID CENTURY CHEST OF DRAWERS BY MEREDEW
This is a beautiful cabinet by Meredew in oak in it's original condition.
The cabinet has been made well with solid wood dovetailed drawers fronts and backs.
We love the design of this piece with six good size drawers with a rare high gloss finish.
The beech fronts have aged to a lovely colour with natural fading, attractive handle design and the way the drawers sit inside the cabinet gives good detail.
The original label can be seen on the back of the cabinet.
This cabinet is in good condition, standing solid with no structural problems.
All of the drawers work well and run smoothly, we always make sure there are no issues with the drawer backs, sides and runners.
There is natural fading the to front but this is not spoiling the beauty of the piece.
We take great care with all of our furniture and do not let it leave the workshop until we are happy with it.
